OMG CONTEST? WHAT? [Edit]

So, lets just have a normal update really quick--
Summer time and the livin' is--...
Well, it's hard as hell in this economy.

UPDATE:
All I've got left in this world's this comic, baby dolls.
Let's get it right.

Alright, so this is the business:
My friend and I are holding a contest as a special grand-revealing event for our comic, "Chaotic Neutral".

It's an adventure comic with lots of humor and an actual story line!
Whaddya know?!
Anyhow, this contest is for two things--
to promote the comic and to allow people who participate
a chance to get one of the following prizes:

3rd place will get a sketch of their character by myself

2nd place will get a coloured, finished picture of their character by myself

1st place winner will have their character have a reoccurring roll in our comic, Chaotic Neutral.

Sound good? :] Good.

RULES:
1. This is a medieval/ fantasy setting. As much as I love it, no sci-fi characters, please.
2. Your characters must have a backstory.
3. The entered character cannot have an unreasonable race. I'd rather not have a demon/angel/zombie/dragon/vampire/werewolf/giraffe/OprahWinfrey hybrid. :] Hybrids are welcome, just make them reasonable with a good backstory, please.
4. You may have magical weapons, however if you do, you must have a good story reason and it can't be "The sword of awesomeness that kills all things instantly".
5. You may have more than one entry.
6. IF you so desire, this has been asked before in other contests for OCs, you MAY attempt to make a pairing with either Choiba (the one without a shirt) or Azair (the wizard). :P IF you want.
7. Have fun. <3
